Litany to bl. Mary Angela

Lord, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.

God, the Father of Heaven, have mercy on us.
God, the Son, Redeemer of the world, have mercy on us.
God, the Holy Spirit, have mercy on us.
Holy Trinity, one God, have mercy on us.
Holy Mary, Mother of God and Lady of the Congregation, pray for us.

Blessed Mary Angela, Mother of a large Felician family, pray for us.
Prudent Virgin, born on Polish soil,
Guardian of poor and neglected children,
Wise educator of young generations,
Excellent guide of the interior life,
Apostle of truth and evangelical love,
Wonderful example of goodness and Franciscan simplicity,
Fervent advocate of God?s mercy,
Ardent adorer of the Blessed Sacrament,
Loving servant of the Immaculate Heart of Mary,

Gifted by God with sensitivity to pain and human misery,
Full of faith and peace even in the most trying situations,
Heroically bearing long years of suffering,
Dedicated to penance for the sins of the world,
Solicitous over the salvation of souls to the end,

Blessed Mary Angela, to whom God gave profound understanding of the redemptive value of suffering,
Blessed Mary Angela who, in suffering, were able to praise and love God?s Will,
Blessed Mary Angela, whom God afflicted with a dark night of the soul,
Blessed Mary Angela, who embraced the concerns of the Church with prayer, penance and sacrifice,

For the grace to imitate the poor Christ, intercede for us, Blessed Mary Angela.
For a living faith,
For perfect love of God,
For perseverance in hardships and suffering,
For a spirit of humility,
For willing acceptance of the Will of God,
For a love of prayer,
For apostolic zeal,
For a supernatural outlook on everything and everyone,
For boundless dedication to the sick and needy,
For love and service toward the Church of Christ,
For numerous and generous vocations to Your Congregation,
For peace and justice for our homeland,

That we may educate children and youth in the Christian spirit,
That we may learn to bear all adversities and sufferings in union with Christ Crucified,
That we may, through suffering, attain to the Kingdom of God,
That, living according to the Gospel and our given vocation, we may merit eternal glory,

Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, spare us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, graciously hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.

Let us pray:

God, our Father, You endowed Blessed Mary Angela with living faith and boundless love so that she could faithfully do your Will. + Grant that, strengthened by her prayer and example, we may joyfully seek to live according to your Will. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
